Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Group receives award for being top EMRAM scorer

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Group has received the highest award for Best Adoption and Application of the Electronic Medical Records (Top EMRAM Scorer) from the International Association for Information Systems and Management of Health Care (HIMSS).
This came within the activities of e-Health Week that was organized by the Assembly in collaboration with the government of Dubai and Dubai Health Authority and a number of other international and governmental agencies.
Humaid Mohamed Al-Qatami, chairman of the Dubai Health Authority, presented the award to Abdulelah Al-Mayman, VP, IT, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group.
Abdulelah Al-Mayman expressed his pride on behalf of Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group on receiving this honor and the international awards in the field of electronic health care.
He said: “Our pride stems from the group's ability to produce and develop 100 percent Saudi technical product to be able to reap the highest awards in regional and international forums.”
He added: “The development of electronic medical records system in the Kingdom and specifically under the umbrella of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group was developed through national experience and qualifications as it has enabled us to compete with the international and global Systems within a short and record time and we could apply the same standards of electronics records system.
Al-Mayman said the group has significantly exceeded the stage of the delivery of health services through the medical file electronic EMR, and made significant progress in the race in the Middle Eastern region for the application concepts of e-health EHR.
He added: The IT team has devised and applied systems and services as the first of its kind in the health care field; for example, identifying patients vital fingerprint and the launch of services through self-service devices, to provide various services in a secure electronic environment.
